FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Booking and session

How do I pay a deposit and book a session?
For packages one, two, and actors headshot package, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session and session date. The full payment of the session will be collected after the shoot has taken place.

What happens if the weather is crazy, your sick or had an emergency?

I get it, things happen that we can’t control sometimes - no worries. Your £50 deposit for package one and two will go towards a re-scheduled session for a better time/day. If you simply do not show to the scheduled shoot, the deposit will not be refundable. If I cancel due to  sickness or emergency, your deposit will be fully refunded back to you.

How will I receive the photos and what is the turnaround time?

You will receive all the final and edited photos via dropbox, an easy and free file sharing service. You can download and share from Dropbox. I also recommend downloading and storing them securely, as I clean out my client files every 6 months. I cannot guarantee I will have the backup images for you.

Turnaround time typically can take up to 5-7 days to receive final files. This timeframe can alter during busy seasons such as holidays and wedding seasons.

Will I be able to review my pictures?

Yes. For packages one, two, and actors headshot package, after the shoot has taken place, you will receive a watermarked version of the pictures from your shoot to review. If you want to purchase the pictures without the watermark then you will have to pay the full amount for the shoot. If you feel your pictures are not to your liking then you are under no obligation to pay the full amount for the session. The deposit is still non refundable so that will not be given back to you. I do welcome suggestions  for minor retouching adjustments to your shoot but these are at the companies discretion. Usually if the change takes more then 30 minutes extra then the changes may not take place.

Do you provide hair, makeup?

Unfortunately not. Due to the nature of street portrait shoots, I do not supply hair and make up facilities. If you require hair and make up to be done I would suggest getting that done before the shoot takes place.

Do you offer prints?

Unfortunately not but you are free to print any of the pictures I supply at any printing facility you wish to use

General questions:

Are you interested in collaborations?

Yes, I am always interested in meeting like minded people to collaborate with. If you are a model, hair, make up artist, costume/fashion designer, or anyone with an interest in doing a fun experimental shoot, feel free to drop me a message via the contact me page with your ideas and we can potentially take it from there.

Do you supply raw files?

For packages one, two, and actors headshot package, I do not supply raw files. All images supplied are in jpg file format for these packages.

For editorial packages, I can supply higher dynamic range lossless file formats only if discussed beforehand.

How would you describe your photography style?

I love using all the variety of available light in the city and other public spaces to set the scene for portrait shoots. I feel it drives my curiosity and also gives each shoot a unique treatment. Saying that, I do have a few spots around London that I do return to if those places give a desired feel and quality of light.

Can I request to make certain pictures black and white if they are in colour?

Yes of course. You can always request a two tone or black and white treatment for any picture you desire.
